GEWAMED
(Mainstreaming GEnder Dimension into WAter Resources Development and Management in the MEDiterranean Region),
is a 4-year project (2006-2010) funded by the European Commission, in collaboration with the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute – Bari - IAMB.
The project is implemented by 18 partners from 14 countries in the South-East Mediterranean Region SEMR: Algeria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Egypt, Jordan, Italy, Lebanon, Palestine, Morocco, Spain, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey.
